I often wonder why
Why I often wonder
I try to find a reason
A reason to try

I ask a stupid question
I question what I ask
I grasp the meaning of the principle
But the principle of meaning is still beyond my grasp

I think I know what the answer is
The answer is what I think
I believe it's in the power of the mind
The power of the mind to believe
Even a figment of the imagination

Inquisitive
That's why we live
To find out why
Or at least (to) die/try
In/(to make) the attempt
